Left side panel does not close

When navigating from an XPage in projects to XM while left side panel was open you can no longer close the left side panel.

Reproduction (requires code from ENT-2148)

• Make a project and add a channel and an XPage to that project
• open the  channel (core version) and open the left side panel
• go back to projects and click on the XPage
• Now the XPage is shown in the channel with the left side panel still open
• Click the close icon of the side panel

Expect: left side panel closed

Actual: left side panel closes and then opens again.
