It seems that since Brxm 14, StatusServlet can not be called using http://localhost:8080/cms/status without being logged in, even though PingServlet can still be called consumed that way. Both are using “ping-user”, according to the upgrade manual: https://documentation.bloomreach.com/14/library/upgrade-13-to-14/relevant-changes.html 1. Needless to say, custom status servlets suffer from the same issue.
The current behavior is a redirect where "/status" is used as the "path" value.
