Currently, from an XPage Document only the containers are rendered which have a representation below the XPage Layout below the hst:configuration/hst:xpages

However, certainly for SPAs, it would be nice to have an option to be able to add static components & containers just for a single XPage Document.

If the CM UI then later also has the option to delete/add static components & containers, the flexibility has increased enormously.

Implementation Details

An XPage document should below hst:xpage allow also static hst components which get merged with the XPage Layout static components just like normal hst component merging
