Tagging plugin: 'tags' not found (due to new security model?)

In version 14.0.0 the 'tags' folder cannot be found after installing the tagging plugin. It seems there is no domain rule specified to grant access to this folder, resulting in the following exception:

[CurrentTagsTagsProvider.<init>:72] Error locating tags virtual provider by tags location tags javax.jcr.PathNotFoundException: tags

Reproduction path:

• run new archetype project
• install tagging project from essentials
• login as editor
• the exception will be thrown in the log
