ensure that after installing an essentials feature, all configuration is auto-exported

In 11.x, sometimes the auto-export was not quick enough in exporting it's changes to filesystem. There are a couple of things we could do to make sure a dev does not stop the system before his changes are exported:

• add a call from the Essentials app to make sure the changes are exported, and then show the message to rebuild and restart
• on shutdown, make sure all changes are exported (not sure if that is feasible)
