    Description

      https://www.onehippo.org/library/upgrade-12-to-13/steps/upgrade-hst-configuration.html

As of version 13.0.0, every site web application must specify the root path for its HST configuration in its hst-config.properties file. If you fail to specify this root path, the site web application will not be able to load its own HST Model. Instead, it will load the default model below hst:platform.

This sounds as if the hst;hosts can just be moved from hst:hst to hst:platform. If I understood correctly though, that should never be there, and even can't be as the root mount is decidedly different.

It probably makes sense to have the default be at /hst:hst.
