Pressing 'forward' browser button does not show the channel detail view

When going back in history a user can go from detail to the channel overview, but going forward the user gets stuck on the overview, pressing forward clearly loads a channel in the background as the breadcrumb and url are updated and events are logged in the console but Ext is not showing the channel detail view.
