IHtmlCleanerService.java v12 remediation

I am very new to Hippo and am having trouble determining the proper remediation for the java class IHtmlCleanerService no longer being available in 12.0.2.  We implement this interface for specific server side cleanup.  Is there a recommended approach or a place I can find documentation on what should be used in place of IHtmlCleanerService.java?  I've been looking at the documentation on onehippo.org pertaining to upgrading but have been unable to determine the appropriate course of action.
