Switching projct document from Channel Manager to Content Editor shows 'core' in yellow bar instead of project

Steps to reproduce

1. Create project and add document + channel with the document.
2. Change the project document
3. View document in channel manager and open VE
4. Open document in content editor using the VE button

Expected: Project document opens and shows the project name in the yellow bar

Actual: Project document opens but yellow bar states 'Core'
