Support viewing a branch in document editor perspective without requiring to check out the branch

Implement the functionality to view the version associated with the currently selected branch instead of the unpublished variant.

The implementation should be such that the business logic for the editor for a document not associated with any project remains the same as much as possible.

This should be implemented in the hippo-cms code because "branch" is a community concept.
