Channel manager: define catalog items in a tree like hierarchy

What I would like to see in a future version of Hippo (Channel Manager) is the ability to define a hierarchy for catalog items. Using this hierarchy, the catalog items can be shown as a collapsed tree. In my opinion will that create a better overview in the channel manager and makes the user experience better.
