No feedback when publishing fails of linked documents

Create Document A, which has some required fields that haven’t been filled in.
Create Document B, which has a link to Document A.
Publish Document B.
Bloomreach prompts to publish Document A along with Document B.
Select to publish Document A along with Document B.
Publishing of Document A fails silently, because its missing the required fields, while Document B gets published successfully with a link to an unpublished document.
Data is now in an invalid state.
Expected behavior:
Data isn’t allowed to enter an invalid state. Failure to perform a requested action (publishing Document A) isn’t silent.
