[Backport to 11.0] Can't save document with only Youtube video in required rich text field

If I set an rich text field of a document to required and embed nothing else as an Youtube video I can't save the document.
It says the rich text field is empty.

Putting more spaces or nbsp; wont help.
If I add some text to the field everything is fine.

I could reproduce this in the gogreen demo.
