Cannot Delete Multi Select Selection from Document Type Editor

I have added a multi-select attribute to a document type through the Essentials Selections plugin. I cannot delete the multi-select attribute from the document type editor and no error occurs in the logs.

Workaround: If I want to delete the multi-select attribute I have to go through the console or delete it from the XML configuration files.
