JS console error when selecting menu item picker tree item

Reproduction path:

1) open JS console
2) navigate to HAP channel, enter Edit mode, open Menu Editor
3) Start editing a menu item with an internal link, open the picker dialog
4) On the document/page tree, the root element is preselected. select any of its children

Expected: all is well. Actual: a JS error is logged, see screenshot.
