New menu item can not be added through menueditor UI if there is no "prototypemenuitem" added

    Description

      Steps to reproduce:-->
      1.Go to https://cms.demo.test.onehippo.com/?1
      2.Go to channel-manager edit mode & click on "Edit menu" to open the menu editor.
      3.Now click on "+ Add menu item".
      4.Notice you no longer can add new menu item.
      5.Check the browser console for errors.
