remove xtype attribute from catalog component

Catalog components need an attribute xtype which allows only the value hst.item. 

If there are no plans to allow additional values, would it make sense to remove the attribute from the configuration?

Otherwise could we improve the documentation as it doesn't seem to be clear enough from there and drives into confusion with the container xtype values
