Switching projects while visual editing panel is open re-opens panel without content

1. open document editor for document using a manage content button
2. switch to another project using the dropdown on top: the right side panel closes
3. switch back to the original channel: surprise! the editor opens again, but only with the header, not the fields and buttons

Looking at the console, a DELETE is send on switching projects
