Description
This is the use case: the FAQ essentials feature has a document structure with two types of documents. The main document is an Faq List document with title and description. It links to documents of type Faq Item which contain question and answer fields.
The component template can be configured it such a way that you can create new documents of both types (see ESSENTIALS-1108). What is missing is that after you created an Faq Item, that item is not linked yet from a Faq List document.
It would be really nice if after document creation (of the Faq Item document) you could configure some action that takes care of this requirement. Some event listener? A configurable extra 3rd step that allows the user to pick the document to link to?
(Indeed, the feature could be set up differently to get the same functionality, e.g. put the documents in the same folder. But this is just an example to illustrate the need of providing a hook for project developers to configure project specific demands.)
