View Document from content perspective results in blank page

Steps to reproduce
1) In the Projects perspective add a project and link the channels to the project
2) Go to the content perspective
3) Open a document, for example a news or event document
4) Click on View/Hippo Acceptance Project

Expected: Channel Manager opens with the document in view
Actual: Blank page. Warning in console:
