HST authentication support does not work out of the box for essentials created archetype

    Description

      Reproduction:

      start project and add 'blog' support

      after restart, go to

      http://localhost:8080/cms/console/?path=/hst:hst/hst:configurations/gettingstarted/hst:sitemap/blog

      and mark the blog sitemap item with

      hst:authenticated = true
      hst:users = admin

      Expected behavior for /site/blog is now to show a login, however, blank page is shown
