Hst Configuration editor should work when a hst:site does not have a hst:configurationpath

When there is no hst:configurationpath, the configuration path should be set by convention:

For example:

hst:sites
myproject

then the hst:configurationpath is : /hst:hst/hst:configurations/myproject
