Component refering to self causes CMS to hang

    Description

      • login to CMS
      • browse to the HST configuration editor tab
      • open "Web Page Designer"
      • create or select a page design
      • check the "extends component" checkbox
      • in the dropdown, select the same page/component you are editing
      • click save
      • CMS hangs / cursor shows loading icon forever
