When changing component from defining class/template to extending existing component, properties are not removed

• define a component in the hst config editor
• set a class and select a template
• save
• now check "extends component"
• the class and template fields disappear, and a component selector appears
• select a component to extend'
• save

this will not work in the site because the properties for classname and template are not removed from the node
