Prerequisite: we have a Win-7 VM with IE11.

Internet Explorer 11 is released and the CMS does not support it yet. See http://www.onehippo.org/7_8/library/about/system-requirements.html

There is a client on 7.6 that experiences that the Xinha HTML editor doesn't open after the "Click to edit".

Other quick investigations:

On a 7.7 archetype bumped to 7.7.11, Xinha HTML editor doesn't open after after the "Click to edit" the Channel Manager doesn't open the channel.
On the 7.8.6 archetype, navigating to the documents is not possible and the Channel Manager doesn't open the channel.
