[global] User name is not visible in the restyled UI

The restyled CMS UI no longer shows the name of the user that is currently logged in. In the old UI the user name is prominently visible in the top-left corner. It must be visible in the new UI too: knowing as which user you are logged in is crucial to understand which actions can be performed.
