cms prototype copy dialog is flawed

With copyDialog when you want to copy a node, a first looks for a node of type hippo:handle and copies this to the selected node. If the selected node is for example a "hippo:handle", you get a "hippo:handle" directly below a "hippo:handle"

Is it an idea to disable the copy and move dialogs in the cms-prototype for now until there is more clarity on how it should behave. WDOT? Currently, it is easy to move and copy nodes to places where they should never be (see above example)
