Channel manager: Template composer: Banner - Unable to delete or select the banner component within any container

1. Log-in to CMS using IE9
2. Navigate to channel manager perspective
3. Select any channel
4. On the preview site, click on "Edit" button in the toolbar
5. When you see the template composer page, try to select any banner component with in container

Expected - When I click on the banner component within container, I should see a yellow overlay (conveying the banner is selected) with cross mark to delete the component and I should see banner properties in template composer.
Actual- It is not possible to select the banner component from within any container (left, middle or right)

Note - It appears that banner component in IE9 is sensitive, I can select it only when I click on the "banner border out-line" or "banner name out-line" (refer attachment - sensitive area is marked in red border line)
