Referenced documents not checked for a request to take a document offline when using workflow

STEPS

1/ admin publishes an Article and a News, the News linking to the Article

2a/ admin wants to take Article offline and receives a message indicating that it is a reference in another document. admin cancels that request

2b/ author requests that Article be taken offline and receives no message

3/ admin approves author's request and receives no message indicating that Article is a reference in News

4/ Article is now offline

In my example I used an Article called is linked form a News called has. The attached screenshot shows the dialog that appears when admin (or editor) wants to take is offline, never when author requests that either admin or editor takes that same document offline. There is no data lost, but the safety of the mechanism is not propagated when completing such request must be delegated due to insufficient privileges.
