REGRESSION: New document type appears as new compound type

In 2.11.01 a new document type is marked, upon creation, as being of the type Document Type
In 2.12.00, it is marked as Compound Type

Steps (using the quickstart war):

• Log in to CMS as 'admin'
• Go 'To the documents'
• Open the 'Configuration' slider
• Open the commands list for 'hippo:namespaces' and click to 'Create namespace'
• Name it "test" and use "http://www.google.com/0.0 in the URL field, click OK
• Open the commands list for this namespace and click New document type
• Name it "test", click Next, select a layout, any layout, click Finish
• Note the value from the Type column in front of this new type: it says "Compound Type"

SW: logout/login and the right type is displayed.

Note: you may wish to create multiple such new namespaces and then click each one in turn. This may cause the following error:
