Support 'classic' CMS next to new style 'deque' CMS

    Description

      It should be able to support both CMS styles
      In the sprint to create the new 'deque' CMS some code duplication was done and some things broke in the 'classic' CMS

      This issue is intended as an umbrella for all these issues.
