Authors cannot enter a channel if there is no preview created for a channel

Steps to reproduce:

1. Delete the preview for the hap channel from the console
2. Login as author
3. Go to the HAP channel

Expected result:

The author sees the HAP channel

Actual result:

**The author does not see the HAP channel and gets a warning (as seen in the screenshot).
