Url for pages in a channel for sharing/bookmarking

When working in CMS with the pages in a channel, one cannot share the URL since the URL is not updated. We would like the editors/webmasters to share a link to the pages in a channel, similar to URL being updated when navigating between different documents in the content area.

In simple terms "There is no URL that represents the page in the channel manager" and we need a URL to this so editors/webmasters can share it.

Another reason:

When one navigates the documents in the content then URL is updated. So editors can bookmark their content, works fine but when the same user after opening a document in the content section moves to pages in a channel then URL is not updated. This leads to confusion when using history buttons and as said there is no way of bookmarking the pages. When refreshing the page the user is thrown back to the document that was previously visited (since URL is not updated to reflect user actions).
