CMS shows unspecific error when trying to save JCR changes to already changed items

    Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      1) Log into CMS
      2) In content perspective, open document, enter edit mode and modify a field. Don't save.
      3) In the Console, navigate to the draft node of the same document, modify the same field/property and save you changes
      4) return to the CMS, content perspective and click Save

      expected result: the change made in step 2 is persisted.
      actual result: an error dialog appears (see screenshot), and the WARN message is logged.

      When I set the logging level of ItemSaveOperation to DEBUG, I get below stack trace.
