Eclipse complains about the /WEB-INF/tags directory not being there

From a potential customer that imported the archetype generated project into Eclipse I got the feedback that eclipse was complaining about the /WEB-INF/tags directory not being there. This throws build error exceptions even though it's not a really big issue it would be nice to have an empty directory there by default.
